Code of Conduct – Zero Tolerance Policy

This Code of Conduct governs all behaviour, communication, and participation within NetworKING. This includes, but is not limited to: group chats, online platforms, in-person events, virtual sessions, collaborations, private messages connected to NetworKING, and interactions involving its representatives.

By joining or remaining in NetworKING, you agree to full compliance with this Code. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action. There are no exceptions, exemptions, or special treatment.

1. Membership Obligations & Legal Responsibility

1.1 Absolute Compliance Requirement

• Compliance with this Code is mandatory for all members.
• The Code applies at all times, regardless of platform, tone, or intent.
• Claiming ignorance, misunderstanding, cultural differences, or lack of clarity will not be accepted as justification for a breach.

1.2 Personal Liability & Conduct Ownership

• Members are solely responsible for their actions, words, tone, emojis, reactions, reposts, and endorsements.
• Statements made "as a joke," "out of frustration," or "without thinking" are treated as intentional conduct.
• Deleting a message after posting does not remove responsibility.

2. Communication Standards & Content Control

2.1 High-Intent Posting Standard

Every post must have a clear purpose, context, and value. Vague, generic, or low-effort posts are prohibited. Members must demonstrate effort by explaining what they have already tried and what specific guidance they are seeking.

2.2 Professional Language & Behaviour

All communication must remain professional, respectful, and constructive. The following are zero-tolerance violations:

• Harassment or bullying (direct or indirect)
• Discriminatory language or behaviour
• Humiliation, intimidation, or personal attacks
• Sexual, political, or extremist content
• Passive-aggressive or inflammatory remarks

3. Opportunities, Ethics & Information Security

3.1 Opportunity Integrity

All opportunities must be legitimate, relevant, ethical, and verified. Prohibited postings include scams, unverified schemes, or irrelevant promotions.

3.2 Privacy, Boundaries & Confidentiality

All internal discussions, resources, and communications are confidential. Members must not screenshot or share internal content externally, or DM speakers/mentors without explicit consent.

4. Moderation Structure & Disciplinary Process

Moderators act on behalf of NetworKING leadership. Their decisions are final, binding, and not subject to debate. Publicly questioning or undermining moderation decisions is prohibited.

5. Participation, Activity & Quality Control

NetworKING prioritises quality over numbers. Members are expected to engage meaningfully, not passively observe. Extended inactivity without explanation may trigger a review.
